In the first three months of 2019, 37643 registration transactions were held in RA, which is around 4.9% more than in the same period in 2018. In provinces, the results is higher than last year. But there is an essential difference between the urban areas of the provinces and the rural ones. So, if in small towns the number of transactions has risen by 8.3%, in the rural areas the rise is insignificant – only 1.3%.

From the table presented below we can see a disproportionate distribution in the provinces in terms of real estate transactions that are the indicator of economic activity: in some provinces there is a noticeable increase and in others a low increase or even a decrease. By the way, it is worth to mention that the increase rate of Vayoc dzor is the highest (even higher than Yerevan) – 13.8%. In two provinces there is a decrease – Aragatsotn and Lori (-0.3% and -4.8% respectively).
