As of July in the Republic of Armenia, the number of deals increased In general

In July 2020 the number of registered deals in the country increased by about 13% compared to June and 2019 . Compared to July, it remained almost the same (slight increase of 1.1%). These are the data of the cadastre committee. Interestingly, in comparison with June-July in the Yerevan, the growth of the deals was higher than in the regions, but instead, in the comparison 2019-2020, the growth is noticeable in the regions – about 10%, in contrast to the 11.8% decrease in the capital.

The above statistics prove once again that the effects of the coronavirus on the real-estate market are indeed very small. And if we take into account that the statistics of the primary market or apartments of newly built apartments are not included in the cadastre statistics, the picture may be completely different. In fact, the primary market deals are not included in the Cadastre analysis, as they are the sale of the right of purchase. And such deals are tangible and serious. In addition to the official figures, there is evidence from private realtors that there is a great deal of activity in the new construction market, due to the law of income tax return.
