In 2019 there was a steady growth in market both in terms of transactions and prices

According to the 2019 Cadastre Real Estate annual analysis there was a steady dynamic growth. Just two facts: the total number of transactions in the republic has grown by 14.5% as compared to the last year, and apartment prices in Yerevan increased by about 11% for 1 square meter.
Interestingly, before the release of the official Cadastre analysis, realtors also reported market activity based on realities. As an active player in the market, Red Group Business Development Director Eduard Apryan told Sputnik Armenia that 2019 showed quite positive dynamics. He also stated that the market has been active enough not only in terms of the number of transactions but also in the positive increase of market value.

As to the Cadastre annual analysis, there are some more interesting facts: in comparison to the previous year the number of transactions in the regions was higher than in the capital: in Yerevan it was 9,3% to the 16,3% of regional cities and 18,3% in rural areas. Positive growth was also observed in land (about 21%) and rental markets (about 58%).
