More than 10% of transactions were made by foreign nationals

According to the data by the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of the Republic of Armenia, foreign citizens were one of the parties of 1480 sale and purchase transactions of real estate processed in the Republic of Armenia in the third quarter of 2018. It made up 12.6% of total purchase and sale transactions. It is interesting, that foreign citizens were the buyers in 1/3 of these transactions (497 transactions).

More than half of the properties purchased by foreigners are apartments – 56.9%, residential houses are in the second place – 19%, which are followed by land areas – 14.2%. Industrial buildings were bought by foreigners were only 3.05% of total transactions:
