August is passive compared to July, but compared to last year – active

This year the number of contracts made in August has decreased by 3,5% compared to July 2019, but compared to August 2018 it has increased by 11,9%. This is the official statistics. Actually, there was a decrease in the capital compared to July, which is bigger (-8,2%) compared to last year’s August increase (+5,8%).
It’s interesting that the number of contracts in regional cities compared to last year’s August has increased by 19% and in rural areas by 13,3%. In regions during July-August months the decrease in number of contracts isn’t that much.
